Dr. Maria Hammond and the N.E.S.T. Team provides intervention for parents and their young children, ages 2-9, with social, emotional, and behavioral differences secondary to developmental differences such as high-functioning autism, communication delay, anxiety, and attentional issues. We specialize in providing playgroup-based intervention that focuses on the nurturing growth of young children’s emotional awareness and regulation, social connectedness, and communication skills. We also provide parent training and family therapy, school shadowing, and teacher training. We are committed to using evidenced-based intervention strategies and nurturing emotional and social skills in a positive and creative therapeutic environment.
